At The Part-Time Project Manager, our mission is to empower everyday individuals to confidently manage their own construction projects—be it building a dream home or renovating a kitchen. We provide practical tools, expert guidance, and budget-conscious strategies to ensure that these significant life milestones are both enjoyable and financially manageable.
In an industry where 75% of construction projects exceed their planned budgets and 77% are delivered late , we aim to reverse this trend by equipping homeowners with the knowledge and resources to maintain control over their projects. Our goal is to minimize such unforeseen expenses by promoting thorough planning and proactive decision-making from the outset.

About Me
I have a bachelors degree in construction management and over 10 years in the construction industry. In this time I have managed everything from small renovations to where I am at now overseeing 50+ million dollar projects. I’ve spent my career mastering the art of delivering projects on time and on budget. From managing trades to navigating the complexities of schedules and scopes, I’ve learned what it truly takes to move a construction project across the finish line successfully.
I created The Part-Time Project Manager (PTPM) to share what I’ve learned—not as a contractor, but as a guide for homeowners. My goal is to help people avoid common pitfalls, make confident decisions, and actually enjoy the experience of improving their homes.
